Real-time interaction between sellers and consumers creates a more engaging shopping experience, thereby increasing the potential for impulsive purchasing behavior. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of telepresence, perceived enjoyment, and trust on consumers' impulse buying behavior on Shopee Live. This research employed a quantitative method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who had previously made purchases via Shopee Live. The respondents were selected using a non-probability sampling technique based on predetermined criteria. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 27 through data quality testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that telepresence, perceived enjoyment, and trust have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying, both partially and simultaneously. The Adjusted R Square value of 75.3% indicates that variations in impulse buying behavior can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 24.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for sellers and Shopee Live platform managers in designing live streaming strategies that enhance telepresence, perceived enjoyment, and consumer trust to encourage impulse buying behavior.
Christ Sarah Sianipar, Nora Pitri Nainggolan Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ekonomi, Akuntasi dan manajemen Indonesia (JEAMI) https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1041 Tue, 01 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Shopeepaylater Usage and Ease of Payment on the Consumptive Behavior of Generation Z in Central Jakarta https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1189
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of ShopeePayLater, a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service, and ease of payment on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z in Central Jakarta. The rapid development of financial technology has transformed digital payment practices and, at the same time, may encourage impulsive and excessive consumption. This study employed an associative quantitative approach using a survey method. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings indicate that ShopeePayLater usage has a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. Ease of payment also has a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. Simultaneously, ShopeePayLater usage and ease of payment significantly influence the consumptive behavior of Generation Z in Central Jakarta. These findings indicate that easier access to deferred payment facilities and convenient digital payment mechanisms may strengthen consumptive tendencies among young consumers. The study highlights the importance of financial literacy, responsible use of BNPL services, and self-control in managing digital consumption behavior.
Yeniana Mau, Irwin Ananta Vidada, Rina Lestari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ekonomi, Akuntasi dan manajemen Indonesia (JEAMI) https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1189 Sat, 12 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Influence of Brand Image, Brand Trust, and Product Quality on the Purchase Decision of Ventela Shoes in Batam City https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1064
The competition in Indonesia's footwear industry has intensified alongside the growing fashion trends and increasing public awareness of local products. Ventela, as one of the well-known local shoe brands, continues to face consumer complaints regarding product quality, which may influence purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effects of brand image, brand trust, and product quality on the purchasing decisions of Ventela shoes in Batam City, both partially and simultaneously. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 29. The results indicate that brand image, brand trust, and product quality have positive and significant effects on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, these three independent variables significantly influence purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-value of 36.978 and a significance level of less than 0.001. Among the independent variables, product quality was found to have the strongest influence on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that improving product quality, strengthening brand image, and enhancing consumer trust are effective strategies for increasing consumers' purchasing decisions toward Ventela shoes in Batam City.
Agung Setya Budi, Winda Evyanto Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ekonomi, Akuntasi dan manajemen Indonesia (JEAMI) https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1064 Fri, 02 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Training and Career Development on Nurses' Job Satisfaction at H Bachtiar Djafar Regional Hospital https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1011
This study aims to examine the effect of training and career development on the level of nurse job satisfaction at H. Bachtiar Djafar Regional General Hospital. The population comprised 55 nurses, with a sample of 55 respondents covering the entire population of nurses at H. Bachtiar Djafar Regional General Hospital. Training data were obtained directly from the hospital, while career development and job satisfaction data were collected through a pre-survey and a questionnaire supplemented by an interview with the Head of the Nursing Department. The analysis was conducted using a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression to explore the relationship between the independent variables (training and career development) and the dependent variable (job satisfaction). The results showed that training had a positive and significant impact on the level of nurse job satisfaction, with a t-value of 4.442 and a significance level of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. Career development had a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, with a t-value of 3.376 and a significance level of 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05. Training and career development were conducted simultaneously and had a positive and significant impact on nurse job satisfaction, with an F-value of 23.619 and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. The adjusted R-square value of 0.456 indicates that 45.6% of the variation in job satisfaction can be explained by training and career development variables, while the remaining 54.4% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. These findings demonstrate the importance of implementing appropriate training programs and having a clear career system in improving nurse job satisfaction.
Febri Yulyanti, Yuli Arnida Pohan, Nurrahman Nasution, Vio Natasya, Sonia Septiwati Simanjuntak, Nadia Maefa Putri, Fachry Zuhair Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ekonomi, Akuntasi dan manajemen Indonesia (JEAMI) https://jurnal.seaninstitute.or.id/index.php/Juemi/article/view/1011 Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000
